Go, Go, Go

The Bible contains wonderful stuff from start to finish. But what could be better

than Jesus’ own words, words of authority, spoken to His followers (and to us) This song

focuses on the promises and the commands of Jesus: He’s made us a promise, eternal

life and a perfect home with the Father. Now we have a job to do, to love one

another and to spread the Good News. That‘s pretty exciting but also a bit scary.

But Jesus promises His Holy Spirit as our support and comforter. Go, Go, Go!

Matt 28:18-20 Acts 1:8 1Cor 9:24-27 John 13:34-35, 14:1-4, 15:1-7  2Tim 4:7-8.

Go, go, go, and teach all the people,

baptizing them in the name of the Lord.

Go, go, go, and teach all the people,

baptizing them in the name of the Lord.

Love, love, love, love, love one another, love one another as I love you.

I am the vine and you are the branches.

Remain in me and bear my fruit.

Refrain:

Now I must leave you. Do not be troubled.

My Spirit will follow and guide your way.

Through sorrow comes glory, a home with the Father.

Go conquer the World with love in your hearts.

Go, go, go, and teach all the people,

baptizing them in the name of the Lord.

Go, go, go, and teach all the people,

baptizing them in the name of the Lord.

Wait, wait, wait, wait for the Spirit. He will give you strength and power

to take salvation to my people. That will be my finest hour.
