Back in Jesus’ time salt was considered very precious stuff. It gave food flavour and helped to
preserve it. Jesus called his people ‘the salt of the Earth.’ Matthew 5:13 That’s you! Boy, you’ve
got a job to do. Matthew 28:19

Hey! Jesus also called us ‘The light of the world’, so why not add a chorus: “Shine, shine, shine
your light around.”
