Thumbs Up
I don’t think anyone could deny what a good feeling they get having someone look them in the eye and giving them the ‘thumbs up’. That’s exactly what God does to us every day. However the truth is that we simply don’t deserve it. But God knows us so very well. He knows that as humans we cannot possibly be everything He would like us to be. That’s why He sent Jesus. Because Jesus was able, as God’s Son, to complete God’s will perfectly, God could honestly give Him the biggest ‘Thumbs Up’ of all time. “This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”(Matt 3:17). Because of our faith in Jesus and the forgiveness that He won for us God can honestly also give us the ‘Thumbs Up’
